Bonahoom Music DJ Service
Bonahoom Music DJ Service was founded in 2002 by Zach Bonahoom. Since 2002 Bonahoom Music has entertained thousands!
At Bonahoom Music, we follow one simple rule: It's your party! With Bonahoom Music, you as the Bride, Groom, Host or Hostess, are the boss! Our DJ's will never obnoxiously steal the show. Instead, we will follow your lead, keeping the party going and the guests happy. Music SelectionOur music selection is one of the largest in Fort Wayne. With over 20,000 songs, we are bound to have your request. If we don't we will get it before your party!
At Bonahoom Music, we understand that not all genres are appropriate for all ages. Our DJ's use strong judgement and caution when choosing what songs to play, and when to play them. We keep it clean when it needs to be clean. Every crowd reacts differently to different music, our DJs are highly educated musically and understand this. This knowledge and professionalism from Bonahoom Music is a must-have to keep the mood of your party upbeat. State of the art sound
Bonahoom Music is proud to use a state of the art BOSE sound system. The BOSE L1 system (pictured) is compact in build, but packs a powerful punch.
A single speaker can fill the largest gymnasium or outdoor auditorium. In fact, at most event the speaker does not reach half its capacity for sound. The BOSE system is engineered specifically to distribute sound evenly throughout any space. Sound quality is identical, whether standing directly in front of the unit, or at the back of the venue. Bonahoom Music uses 100% digital music for the best, crystal clear sound. | About the Founder - Zach Bonahoom![]() Zach in 2010
Zach Bonahoom is the oldest of three kids, born to Joe and Sandy Bonahoom of Fort Wayne, IN. From a young age, music was Zachs passion.
Zach has been a DJ since 2002, and is experienced in multiple entertainment venues. Between 2009 and 2010, Zach took a trip around the world on a cruise ship. On the ship he worked as a DJ. Not only was he exposed to many different destinations, but he was introduced to over 50 different cultures, ethnicities, religions and nationalities! This experience has given him and his employees the ability to entertain nearly every audience! "This is something no other DJ company in town can say. The different people, including their culture and behaviors, I had the opportunity to learn from and about is truly invaluable." Zach says regarding his cruise ship experience. Zach believes in strong customer relationships and a quality product or service as the foundation to any business. The Bonahoom Music timeline...![]() Zach in 2006 at a private function
In 2002, Zach and a friend attended a pool party. The rest was history...Just kidding!
At that party, Zach realized one thing - the music could have been better. Within months Bonahoom Music & More was born. Zach began DJing around Fort Wayne, undercutting every other DJ company in price and enjoying great success. From 2002 - 2006, Zach did no advertising. Business came solely from 'Word of Mouth.' To this day, Zach believes in Word of Mouth as the single best marketing tool. "With word of mouth, [the customer] takes a friend or family members referral, as oppose to seeing an ad and being uncertain about what they're receiving." Because of this belief Zach created the Bonahoom Music Referral Program, to reward the word of mouth that gave Bonahoom Music its start. Since 2006, Bonahoom Music has grown and implemented a state of the art, simple yet powerful, sound system. In 2009 as iPods began to compete with DJ's and bands, Zach had to work to re-invent his brand. As part of this re-branding, Bonahoom Music and More, dropped the 'More' and became 'Bonahoom Music.' Zach stresses the continued need for a DJ/M.C. at most events. "You can't plug an iPod in and expect the volume level to stay the same or the random mix of music to be generally accepted by the crowd. A human DJ can observe the crowd and its tendencies, allowing he or she to choose the right song for that moment...Besides, who is going to announce the bouquet toss or the bridal party at a wedding reception, your iPod can't do that!" |
